At Brentford Boat Club, we’re more than just a team. We are open, inclusive and successful. We are a community run rowing club of over 100 junior rowers, their family and friends. We are united by our passion for rowing and our commitment to growth, on and off the water.
The rowing club is run by its volunteer committee from the local community of different race and background, and was formed at the end of 2023 to continue the legacy created by Team Keane.
We offer various membership options for all ages, levels and abilities. Join Brentford Boat Club today and become part of our community.
What sets us apart is our unwavering dedication to our members. Our inclusive and supportive programs empower young people to thrive through teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.
Our rowing programs are designed for 13 to 18 years old, boys and girls. Our experienced team ensure that all athletes receive the coaching and encouragement they need to reach their full potential.
We have over 100 young athletes across our boys and girls squads training and racing in our club. From our J13 squads right through to J18, we offer all ages the chance to learn, improve and compete at both National, Regional and Local level.
Our rowing camps are designed for anyone learning to row, developing their skill and confidence and for those with advanced skills who are training towards racing goals this season.
Our half-term junior rowing camps are for juniors, from year 7 and above.
Our easter junior rowing camps are for juniors, from year 8 and above.
Our summer junior rowing camps are for juniors, from year 7 and above.
Brentford Boat Club is affiliated to The Brentford Community Boat House (BCBH), a fully registered charity.
The BCBH has been formed to build and run a new boathouse which will ensure existing and future generations of the community have access to the river and the opportunity to row on the Thames at the Ferry Quays site.
Help us raise money for the new boathouse.
Our rowing club is a community that we all love and one we want to develop and grow for as long as possible. We want to enable those from all backgrounds to experience what it gives to all of us.
We have already benefited from amazing contributions from our members and community – many devote time and professional expertise, others their hard earned cash.
All contributions go to supporting our young athletes, the kit and the running of the club. Please contact us if you are able to contribute to the future of the club through any means.
