Brentford Junior Summer Sprint Regatta

Join an exciting, packed day

We are very excited to be hosting our Summer Sprint Regatta on the 22nd June 2024 at Ferry Quays, home of Team Keane Sculling School & Brentford Boat Club.

This event is also being supported by the Brentford Canal Festival which is being held on the same day so it is promising to be a day packed with exciting things to do and see!

All of our Junior Athletes, have worked so hard this term with their schools, & will now have the opportunity to come together and compete in a fun & friendly environment against one another.

How to participate

There will be medals for the winners and the Victor Ludorum Trophy for the best performing school. We would like to invite your child to participate as a member of a crew to represent their school at the event. Additional information

Registration deadline

The deadline for participant entries is 17th June 2024. This is so we can set crews and publish the racing times.

Meeting location

All participants are required to meet at the Wharf, Team Keane Watersports, Ferry Lane, Brentford, TW8 0AT from 08:30 till 9am for registration.

Refreshments

Refreshments will be available for sale throughout the event and there will be a Charity BBQ and cake sale available from 11:00. All proceeds from the BBQ and cake sale will go to Brentford Boat Club, a registered Charity supporting providing a rowing provision to kids in the local community many of whom have progressed from the School Rowing Clubs.

Entry information

Entries for the event are £15 per seat and are inclusive of a Burger or Hotdog and a drink for each participant. All pupils will be required to be there for the duration of their racing & awards.

Kit information

Participants will be expected to be in their school P.E. kit with appropriate additional base & over layers for the weather conditions on the day.
