Holiday Rowing Camps

Our Holiday Rowing Camps are a fantastic way for young people to try rowing during the school holidays while staying active and learning new skills.

Our week-long programmes combine rowing, fitness, teamwork and time on the water, helping participants develop their skills quickly in a fun and supportive environment.

What Happens at a Rowing Camp?

Each day includes a mixture of land-based and on-water sessions, introducing participants to:

  • Rowing technique and boat handling
  • Teamwork and crew coordination
  • Fitness training for rowing
  • Water safety and river awareness
  • Confidence and balance in the boat

Our camps are designed to be engaging, active and social, allowing young rowers to build skills while enjoying time on the river with new friends.

Next holiday camp: Half-term, 25-29 May 2026

A Pathway into Junior Rowing

Holiday camps can be a great first step towards joining Brentford Boat Club.

Young people who enjoy rowing and want to continue can join our Club or Performance streams, where they can row and train regularly, and have the opportunity to take part in competitions.
